Ubitec’s assembly and integration services have played a key role in the growth of Enico’s energy storage production. Ubitec has supported Enico’s energy storage integration, installation, and maintenance since the company’s founding in 2019.
At the heart of this collaboration lies flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to increasing demands. Ubitec has been able to adapt to Enico’s changing needs, for example by scaling up the number of assemblers as workloads have grown.
Comprehensive Service Throughout the Customer Lifecycle
In Enico’s operating model, assembly, installations, and maintenance are outsourced to Ubitec. During the autumn, Enico’s energy storage production moved to larger facilities and the required number of Ubitec professionals moved along with it. As part of the relocation, the production hall was renewed to meet Enico’s needs, enabling the company to triple its production capacity. Ubitec’s experts played a critical role in this transformation
The renewal required accommodating greater lifting capacity, larger production areas, and the ability to manufacture multiple modules per week. Ubitec’s specialists were actively involved in the industrialization of the new generation Enico | Jupiter energy storage, which gave them a clear understanding of the production requirements. It was therefore natural to leverage Ubitec’s expertise in layout design and production flow optimization for the new facilities. The collaboration also marks a shift toward LEAN thinking: efficient inventory management and a streamlined production line model ensure sustained scalability for the future.
Efficient Production for the Customer’s Benefit
Ubitec is involved in Enico’s manufacturing process throughout the entire chain — from material reception and measurements to testing and final inspection. In the future, production peaks will be balanced as needed with shift work, and Ubitec’s installers will continue to play a centralrole in developing even more efficient practices. The work is versatile: employees handle both mechanical and electrical installations.
For Ubitec, it is essential to support the customer’s production exactly when the need is greatest. Currently, Enico employs 12 professionals through Ubitec, and resources are flexibly scaled as needed. This ensures cost-effective collaboration and minimizes customer risk, with the right skills available exactly when required.
